Hi, I'm Amy, an artist based in Milton Keynes living with my husband, daughter and two cats. I specialise in custom pet portraits and animals capturing their likeness and personality in acrylic paint or pencil, and more recently pastel.

 

I set up my business, Amy E Burns Art as part of a lifelong dream to pursue my passion for art professionally and to bring my artwork into people's homes to be enjoyed. Whether it be through a treasured pets' expression in a custom pet portrait created from a photograph (which make great keepsakes and gifts for loved ones), or a print or card featuring my artwork - I make art to make people smile. Someone bought a print of one of my springer spaniel paintings saying excitedly 'oh he'll really brighten up my office" - to me that epitomises why I do what I do :)

On this website you'll find a selection of my artwork including pet portraits, other animal work and some fan art as I have quite a range of skills, styles and interests.
